I hadn't been ordering teriyaki from Yummy, even though they're my local teriyaki shop, because I'd gotten kind of lousy chicken from them twice in a row over five years ago... and there are a lot of other teriyaki places in Seattle. But Kenji's recent video review drove me to give it another chance, and... wow! Well that was super delicious. Nice char on the chicken teriyaki, a good spicy sauce, really crunchy gyoza and eggrolls... I'm pretty darn happy now and look forward to ordering teriyaki from them again soon!

Keith Lee missed a gem in Seattle's teriyaki scene--Yummy. Located downtown, this spot nails the perfect balance of sweet and smoky with its charcoal-grilled chicken, and the sides are consistently solid. The rice is just sticky enough to grab with chopsticks, and the mayo-based dressing on the salad is a surprisingly addictive touch. I order from this place all the time--it's easy on the pockets and avoids the overly thick, sweet sauce you find elsewhere. Instead, the flavor is perfectly balanced. My go-to is the double chicken, and you can smell the grill from a block away. Yummy's resilience through the pandemic and vandalism speaks volumes--it's run by a dedicated tech guy who's kept it thriving, especially with an insane volume of to-go orders. If you're looking for the best teriyaki in Seattle, this is it. Don't miss out!

Wow this teriyaki stays open late 11pm! Had to stop in and was craving chicken yakisoba and coconut bubble tea - was delicious! Love the mixture of chicken and veggies. Yes! They have bubble tea - many different flavors- I got the coconut. Tapioca for an added 50 cents. Chicken yakisoba was $16.99, bubble tea &4.99 plus the 50 cent for tapioca. My bill was $25.81 plus tax and tip. Lots of space - since I was there late - had the dining room to myself - Teriyaki sauce was good and they have real hot chili sriracha!!! Yum!! Great service and friendly! I will definitely be back since they are open late. Thank you!

Food was ok. Not the best teriyaki but it'll do. Service was good though and the restaurant is clean

I really liked the fact that their tofu teriaki came with actually breaded and fried tofu. The texture was perfect and the flavor was exactly what I wanted. Good and fast service

Really solid chicken teriyaki & gyoza. Fulfills the 'yaki craving every time. The owner / older guy is always very kind. This place should have at least a 4/5 score.

Is this the best teriyaki in Seattle? No. But it's certainly not the worst. Easy walk back to queen anne from seattle center/kraken game. Easy to order and really fast service.
